Objective
The Master of Science in Elementary and Middle School Education is designed to enhance the competence of prospective and in-service elementary and middle school teachers by providing a comprehensive training experience which emphasizes mastery of one or more sub-specialty area of the elementary and middle school curriculum.
Admission to Program
For unconditional admission, applicants must have earned a minimum undergraduate average of 3.0 in their major average of study, and not less than 2.5 overall. In addition, applicants must have an undergraduate degree in elementary education, or its equivalent. General Requirements for Degree
Students are required to complete thirty-three (33) credit hours and pass a written comprehensive examination.
