Anita Jones is the Project Planner for the National Transportation Center. She is responsible for the financial reporting of NTC's budget and expenditures and keeps accurate financial records for multiple, simultaneous projects. She supports the Center Director in developing project plans and coordinating research activities, including allocating and managing research resources. She prepares project reports and required documents that summarize key achievements and identify key deadlines to ensure the timely completion of projects. Ms. Jones also coordinates the preparation of project financial summaries, including expenditure to date and budget forecasts as required.
Ms. Jones also monitors the progress of faculty and graduate students engaged in research, and she is involved in the preparation for NTC's annual Summer Transportation Institute. She also serves as a co-principal investigator on research projects and assists in supervising research staff as needed.
An alumna of Morgan, Ms. Jones earned a bachelor's in Business Administration and a master's in transportation here. She has worked for Morgan for 19 years.
