Research Interests:

Cybersecurity, Internet of Things (IoT) Security, Cyber-Physical Systems Security, Security and Privacy in Spectrum Sharing Networks, Online Learning Algorithms, Multi-armed bandits (MAB), Statistical Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Deep Learning.

Dr. Dabaghchian’s research lies at the intersection of cybersecurity and machine learning (ML). She is interested in studying and analyzing the threats, vulnerabilities, and risks present in IoT devices such as civilian Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV), smart cars, and intelligent vehicle platooning in autonomous vehicles. She is also interested in security of cyber-physical systems as well as spectrum sharing wireless networks. She applies existing machine learning techniques and designs new ML algorithms with theoretical analysis to design effective and robust defense mechanisms to mitigate potential cybersecurity threats.
