Dr. Barkat Ullah is an Assistant Professor of Finance in the Department of Accounting and Finance at Morgan State University. He received his Ph.D. in Finance degree from University of Texas at El Paso. He received MBA in International Finance from Texas A&M International University, MBA in Marketing and BBA in Marketing from University of Dhaka (Bangladesh). He teaches in the areas of Corporate Finance, Investments, International Finance, and Financial Markets and Institutions. Before joining Morgan State University, Dr. Ullah taught Economics and Finance courses in Rhode Island College and University of Texas at El Paso. He also taught Marketing and International Business courses in Northern University Bangladesh. His research interests include Corporate Finance, Privatization, and International Finance. Dr. Ullah has published in highly regarded finance journals including Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Banking & Finance, Journal of Financial Research, Journal of Multinational Financial Management, The Quarterly Review of Economics and Finance, and Global Finance Journal.
