The Music Program at Morgan State University is housed in the beautiful Carl J. Murphy Fine Arts Center located at 2201 Argonne  Drive on the south side of the campus. This is the home to the three academic units within of the Department of Fine & Performing Arts; Music, Theatre Arts and Visual Arts. The Department of Fine & Performing Arts was established in 1987 and is led by our Chairperson, Dr. Eric Conway.

SHADOW A MUSIC MAJOR DAY 2020

Have you ever wondered what it is like to be a music major at Morgan State University? 

High school juniors and seniors can register for our annual Shadow a Music Major Day in Fall 2020.

 

  • Attend a music theory or aural skills class
  • Experience an ensemble rehearsal
  • Observe a private lesson
  • Review the application process
  • Discover scholarship opportunities
  • Parents are welcome to meet with a Financial Aid Advisor, Music Academic Advisor, and Admissions
