Center for Excellence in Mathematics and Science

As technology influences all aspects of our society from health and the environment, to the nation's workforce and national defense, so vital is mathematics and science education for America's youth. As a response to this vital need, the Center for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Education (CEMSE) at Morgan State University was established in 1988. The CEMSE staff consists of well-trained professionals in the areas of mathematics education, science education, and research. Their expertise includes: Elementary Education, Chemistry Education, Science Education, Biological Sciences, Mathematics, Earth Sciences, Marine Estuarine and Environmental Sciences, Higher Education, and Teacher Certification Coordination.
