Given the information available from local and national forecasts, it is anticipated the COVID-19 virus will swiftly progress. Consequently, face-to-face summer programs for the 2020 season will not be offered. Although face-to-face programming will not be offered, summer program directors are in the process of shifting some programs into a virtual format. Information regarding virtual program offerings will be posted here on the MSU Summer Programs website. Morgan State University is the premier source for individuals seeking academic and personal enrichment courses year-round. Summer programs are designed for young children, high school students, college students, and adults. There are various educational programs offered, such as engineering, education, computer science, chemistry, mathematics, and athletics, to name a few. In addition to academically focused programs, summer programs also include recreational and enrichment opportunities. All the programs aim to help students gain confidence and develop independence.
Each year, as the starting point for Summer Programs, CCPS receives information about many exciting opportunities for summer activity and enrichment programs. In an effort to offer quality services for all summer programs on the campus of Morgan State University, CCPS, in conjunction with other university offices, provides and addresses the specific needs of summer programs, which include room assignments and event scheduling, meal programs, public safety, health, recreational, and Bear Card services
