SCMNS Joins the March for Science

On Saturday, April 22, Earth Day 2017, 15 members of Morgan State University braved the rain and cold to participate in the March for Science in Washington, DC, along with thousands at parallel marches in other cities across globe. The group was composed of 9 students, 4 faculty members, and 2 staff members affiliated with natural, social, and behavioral science programs at Morgan State, including Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Medical Technology, and Psychology. Morgan State University embraces its growing role as a stalwart supporter of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) as it continues to identify and cultivate diverse talent and perspectives in STEM.
