Kent Weatherley is a retired Naval Officer and has worked in a variety of industries.  He worked for three years as a Sales and Marketing representative for Ciba-Geigy Corporation (now known as Novartis.)  He worked for Computer Sciences Corporation for eight years as a Systems Analyst and Systems Engineer.  Following that he worked for seven years at Martin Marietta (now Lockheed Martin) as a Systems Engineer, Systems Analyst and Project Manager.  While there, he worked on a variety of projects including a robot submarine, an artificial intelligence project, a proposal for monitoring SALT II Treaty compliance with the Soviet Union, and several anti-submarine warfare contracts.  Mr. Weatherley, as the International Operations Manager at Sylvan Learning Systems (now Prometric Corp.), was responsible for opening computer-based test centers in over 192 cities in 90 countries where certification and entrance examinations are given. He has also worked as a project manager for Verizon.  Since 2003 Mr. Weatherley has had his own business consulting company.  One of Mr. Weatherley's many interests is martial arts, where he has been an instructor at Towson University for the last 12 years.  He holds a BA from University of Virginia; MBA (information Systems) National University San Diego; and MS Ed (Instructional Technology) National University San Diego
