Department: Returning Peace Corps Campus Recruiter
Duties: The Peace Corp Recruiter works with Peace Corps Mid-Atlantic Regional Recruiting Office to promote Peace Corps volunteer opportunities at Morgan State University and surrounding communities; coordinates specific recruiting activities; develops and maintains partnerships with University personnel, department heads, student organizations, and Returning Peace Corp Volunteer organizations; prepares and delivers presentations; interviews and recruits potential Peace Corp candidates; supervises Peace Corps campus events and information sessions; facilitates campus activities, communications and publicity, and performs other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree; Sufficient knowledge and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the above tasks. 2 years as a Peace Corp volunteer.
Requirements: Knowledge of communication tools and recruiting methods; skill in Microsoft Office Suite; office equipment and word processing; ability to make presentations; ability to work independently; ability to interact with the public, employees, and students in an efficient manner; ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and execute multiple and continuing assignments; ability to meeting deadlines; ability to communicate effectively.
