Department: University Student Center
Duties: Under direct supervision prepares for event set up and break down and inventory control; reviews event schedules software; determines event inventory needs and assesses the necessary labor and time required to complete all task throughout the day and for future events; ensures the daily documenting and monitoring of all deliveries and retrieves all of all University Events equipment; establishes and documents policies and procedures for inventory tracking, preventative maintenance and repair of all University Events equipment; and performs other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Two years' experience working with operating and manipulating heavy equipment, tools and supplies. Ability to work at heights up to 35 feet.
Requirements: Ability to follow oral and written instructions; ability to complete logs and work order forms; ability to make minor adjustments, repairs and replacements to building fixtures and mechanical equipment; ability to work in, on, around, over and under fixed equipment or machinery; ability to work at heights up to 35 feet; ability to manipulate heavy equipment, tools, supplies and/or exert force up to 70 lbs.; and ability to concurrently manipulate multiple controls on equipment.
