Freshman Applicants

The Morgan State University early action (non-binding) deadline is December 1. This is also the deadline for highest scholarship consideration. Your completed application for admissions, including your official transcript, official SAT/ACT test scores (if applicable) must be submitted electronically by December 1 or postmarked on or before December 1 to be considered for the early action (non-binding) deadline. Our regular decision deadline is April 1. If you are a freshman who desires to start in Spring, this application will not be available until August.

All freshman applicants must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be eligible for a scholarship. You are not required to accept any loans; however, you must file the FAFSA. Information about the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and when it will be made available can be found on the Office of Financial Aid website.

Honors College

The Honors College is a wonderful opportunity for both incoming freshmen and transfer students. The Honors College manages their own admission application and deadlines. Detailed information about the Honors College admission process can be found on their website.

Additional questions about admission deadlines and requirements can be directed to admissions@morgan.edu or any of our admission counselors.
