Hospitality Club

The Hospitality Club is a registered student organization open to all Morgan State University students. It seeks to educate students about the hospitality industry and provides opportunities for student engagement with industry professionals.

National Society of Minorities in Hospitality (NSMH)
Founded in the 1990, at Cornell University, NSMH works in conjunction with sponsors to establish a working relationship between the hospitality industry and minority students. NSMH is an organization of students and professionals representing an array of social and cultural backgrounds and a wealth of unique perspectives and ideas. NSMH is proud of its diversity and believes it provides a competitive advantage in the hospitality industry. Consequently, we work to make the industry aware of the benefits that a diverse workforce provides in a business that caters to the world.

Council for Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Education (CHRIE)
Founded in 1946, the International Council on Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Education is the global advocate of hospitality and tourism education for schools, colleges, and universities offering programs in hotel and restaurant management, foodservice management and culinary arts.

The National Coalition of Black Meeting Planners (NCBMP), founded in 1983, is a non-profit organization dedicated primarily to the training needs of African American meeting planners. The organization is committed to the improvement of the meetings, conferences, exhibitions, and convocations they manage.
