BS in Medical Technology:Our Curriculum |

The curriculum consists of a pre-professional and professional phase. The freshmen and sophomore year make up the pre-professional phase since students the general education requirements and major courses offered by the University. The professional phase of the program consists of medical technology courses throughout the junior year and senior fall semester. A unique feature of the Medical Technology program is the clinical rotations, which are offered to senior students during the spring semester of their senior year. Students rotate for 23 days at clinical sites in hospital or reference laboratories throughout the state of Maryland.
Admission to Morgan State University does not guarantee admission to the Medical Technology program. See Admission procedure on this web site.
Placement in a clinical rotation practicum is guaranteed to those students who have successfully completed the didactic component of the senior curriculum. The clinical rotation affiliates/sites are:
