The Continuing Education program offers a variety of non-credit courses focused on workforce readiness, professional development and personal enrichment. Non-credit courses are scheduled throughout the year, and feature workshops, intensive classes, and eight-week courses.
CCPS offers courses tailored to meet the career training needs of individuals and organizations. For organizations, we provide cost-effective solutions that allow the delivery of courses on Morgan State University’s campus or at the location convenient for participants. We offer several options to individuals for course delivery including: online, face to face, or through our intensive institute course format.
Morgan State University offers Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and Professional Development Hours (PDHs) for university departments, state and national organizations. CCPS is the authorized unit at MSU for awarding, administering, and reviewing CEUs/PDHs procedures to ensure compliance with established criteria.
The Improved Opportunities for Parents (IOP) Program is supported by Morgan State University and is located in CCPS. The program is designed to assist individuals, especially parents, in obtaining a bachelor's degree.
CCPS coordinates and oversees all summer programs on the campus of Morgan State University (MSU). Programs are sponsored by various MSU departments, non-profits and other community-based organizations.
In collaboration with the Morgan, schools and departments, CCPS coordinates certificate programs in several areas. These include, but are not limited to Bioinformatics, Health Leadership Management, and Urban Planning and Health Management.
