MSU Banner System To Be Upgraded

Attention Morgan Faculty and Staff

As a result of the required upgrading of Banner 7 to Banner 8, the Morgan State University Banner System (both WebSIS and Internet Native Banner) will be shut down for the entire day from Wednesday, November 25, 2009, up to and including, Monday, November 30, 2009. During this time, no one will be able to access Banner.  Even though Banner 8 is a minor upgrade, there may be changes to the Banner screens and forms that you currently use.  Banner 8 testing has been available for the past year for the functional teams and leaders to test potential changes and adjustments.  By now, all departments should be aware of any differences with the new upgrade.
