Who We Are
The Division of Information Technology (DIT) is responsible for the development, implementation, and delivery of IT services that enable the strategic goals of Morgan State University.
We have adopted the vision of service and a core theme of "Restore, Grow, and Optimize". This means we must first restore our capabilities and then grow them to meet the outcomes required by the university and, in the final phase, optimize (continuous improvement) to make the best use of the available resources. Furthermore, our primary focus will be on providing valued service to the customer.
What We Do
The strategic mission of DIT is to enable, enhance and sustain the delivery of high quality technology-based services and systems to support the university's mission and goals as they apply to teaching and learning, academic research and discovery, and public service.
Our responsibilities include providing all telecommunications services (voice and data), enterprise administrative systems and support to the campus community including:
Campus telephone system
Campus local area network
Campus wireless network
Computer Labs
Computer Software
Data Center Operations
Email/Account Management
Enterprise Services
Information Security Management
Mobile Phone Management
