Office of Transfer Initiatives

Morgan State University (MSU) is Maryland's preeminent urban public research university and has become the preferred choice for hundreds of transfer students each year. If you're already enrolled in another institution, earned an associate's degree, or have another credential, MSU is ready to help you earn your Bachelor's degree.

The Office of Transfer Initiatives welcomes newly admitted transfer students and provides an orientation to campus life, culture, and resources. We also coordinates the path for students pursuing alternative admission to the University, offering guidance along the way. Moreover, we serve as the hub for the MSU Delta Gamma Chapter of Tau Sigma National Honor Society, exclusively recognizing and promoting transfer students' academic excellence and involvement, and our new transfer student organization, Morgan Transfer Alliance.

At MSU, our motto is "Growing the future, leading the world," and it all starts with our students. We are committed to supporting students transitioning from other institutions of higher learning and assisting them in their efforts to earn a bachelor's degree.
