The Veterans Engagement Services (VES) team in the Office of the Registrar is honored to assist our servicemembers, (current or retired) with transitioning from military service, and secondary education to our institution of higher learning.

Designated by Viqtory Media as #8 in the Top Ten listing of Military Friendly Schools for the 2024-2025 Academic year, holding strong with Gold status since 2016.  Morgan State University is Maryland's preeminent urban public research university and is the preferred choice for hundreds of our servicemembers (active and retired). Morgan uses innovative community-level endeavors to address the student body from a 360-degree perspective. Tapping into intentional academic and personal assistive programs and services that support our student veterans regardless of traditional and non-traditional status. We understand the transition from the military to civilian life has its challenges, it is our pleasure to provide you with resources from our team and across campus that will prepare you to navigate those challenges for full academic success. Before enrolling at this institution we highly encourage all service members to speak with their Educational Service Officer (ESO) from their branch of service to discuss the eligibility requirements for benefit usage. 

Morgan State University also supports our military spouses, and dependents ensuring they receive the services and benefits available to them. As an extension of those efforts to encompass the increasingly diversified military population, we have included our MSU ROTC Program partners through community resources and on-campus engagement opportunities.
