The Morgan State University Police and Public Safety Department places the safety of the university community as its highest priority.

In the department's continuing efforts to enhance the safety of Morgan State University, we have worked hard toward Community Oriented Policing and providing superior customer service. The department has been working in concert with other university departments to significantly enhance police services to our campus family and its visitors.

It is the department's dedicated objective to enhance the educational experience of students by being sensitive to student needs and concerns.Our officers are dedicated law enforcement professionals, who take pride in being a part of the process that educates and develop students and members of the community. Please be assured that we take the issue of campus safety extremely serious, and that MSU is determined to continue its efforts to make certain that our campus remains safe. To do so, of course, requires not just the efforts of the Police and Public Safety Department, but the cooperation and understanding of every member of the university community. We encourage all members of our community to be active in our efforts to provide a safe and prosperous educational environment.
